Practicum of Agricultural Product Processing Techniques (TPHP) is one of the mandatory practicum courses in the Undergraduate Program in Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering (TPB). Considering North Sumatra is one of Indonesia's largest coffee-producing regions, coffee post-harvest processing is one of the modules raised in this practicum. After processing in the laboratory, the 2021 batch of Undergraduate Program in Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering students carried out a field trip to one of the coffee exporters in North Sumatra, CV. Mandiri Kopi. Field trip activities were carried out on Saturday, March 02, 2024. Practicum lecturer, Putri Chandra Ayu, and TPHP Laboratory Assistants, Anis Wulandari, M. Revi Machrizailani, and Isika Romaitona accompanied TPB 2021 students. They were welcomed by CV Mandiri Kopi partners, namely Mr. Titis Budi Prihatin, S.T.P., Mrs. Susi Rahwani Oktari, S.Kom, and Mr. Rico Pratama.

At the field trip location, the Undergraduate Program in Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering students were directed to several stations starting from drying, sorting both manually and mechanically to automatically using image processing, export-ready coffee and continued with cupping test activities by CV Mandiri Kopi's Q-grader.
