Medan – FP USU: The Undergraduate Program in Animal Husbandry and the Master's Program in Animal Husbandry at Universitas Sumatera Utara successfully organized a public lecture with the theme “Ruminant Nutrition and Environmental Challenges.” The lecture was held on Friday, August 4, 2022, at the DH Penny Hall, Faculty of Agriculture, USU. The keynote speaker was Prof. Anjas Asmara Bin Samsudin (Deputy Dean, Development Industry Linkages and Community, Faculty of Agriculture, Universiti Putra Malaysia).

The theme of this lecture aims to improve livestock systems by prioritizing animal welfare and environmental sustainability. This approach is crucial to addressing climate change challenges and ensuring sustainable food availability in the future.
