The Aquafish team from the Fisheries Resource Management program participated in the "Pahlawan Digital UMKM 2023" event and advanced to Pitching Day in Solo, alongside 9 other finalist teams.

The Aquafish team from the Fisheries Resource Management program is grateful to be part of the extraordinary event "Pahlawan Digital UMKM 2023" held on Friday (27/10/2023). This event supports the vision of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo, who emphasizes the importance of providing support and attention to the MSME sector, as this sector has great potential to create job opportunities for the people.


A long selection process was carried out, with 300 startups participating in this event. In the end, only 30 startups were selected to move on to the Pitching Day stage. Pitching Day was held in three cities, each hosting 10 finalist teams. For the Aquafish team, it was a proud moment to participate in the Pitching Day in Solo, alongside 9 other finalist teams from various cities in Indonesia.


The event was also attended by the Deputy for Entrepreneurship, Siti Azizah; Special Staff of the President, Putri Tanjung; Special Staff of the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs for Creative Economy, Fiki Satari; and the President Director of LLP-KUMKM, Leonard Theosabarata.


Together, let’s realize a more creative and competitive Indonesia!
