On Saturday (November 4, 2023), the Student Affairs Division of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a training event for students regarding the National and International Competition Selection. The event was attended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Agriculture, the Heads of Study Programs, and the Secretaries of Study Programs from the Faculty of Agriculture, along with faculty members and students.
Dr. Lisnawita, S.P., M.Si., the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Agriculture, in her speech stated, "This event is held to provide students with knowledge, information, as well as tips and tricks about national and international competitions, so that the students of FP USU can achieve many accomplishments in both academic and non-academic fields." She also added, "It is essential that students take the opportunity to learn as much as possible from the resource persons who will present the material during this event."
The event featured speakers who are experts in their fields. The speakers included: Adilla Safira, S.P., Riswanti Sigalingging, S.TP., M.Si., Vindy R. Manurung, S.SPi., M.P., and Galih A. W. Siregar, S.Pt., M.Si.
In addition, accomplished students from the Faculty of Agriculture at USU were present to share testimonials and experiences about participating in competitions, as well as the benefits they gained from their achievements.
We hope that this event will further motivate students at FP USU to excel in national and international competitions.
