The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FP USU), held a thanksgiving ceremony to celebrate the achievement of Excellent Accreditation by the Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology, based on the Decree of the Director of the Executive Board of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) Number 8620/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/S/XII/2025 concerning the Accreditation Rank of the Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology at Universitas Sumatera Utara.
The thanksgiving event was held on Thursday, 18 December 2025, from 12:00 WIB until completion, at the Meeting Room of the Main Building, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Agriculture USU. The event was attended by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Agriculture, the Vice Deans I, II, and III, Heads and Secretaries of Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral Programs, lecturers from various study programs within the Faculty of Agriculture, as well as academic support staff of FP USU.
The series of events began with a communal lunch, followed by the opening by the MC, Nursa’adah, S.ST., M.Agr. The event then continued with remarks from the Dean of the USU Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, MS, who conveyed appreciation and pride for the achievement of the Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology. On this occasion, the Dean of FP USU also symbolically presented the Certificate of Excellent Accreditation to the Head of the Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology, Dr. Nini Rahmawati, SP., M.Si., followed by a group photo session.
All participants in attendance expressed their appreciation and congratulations to the Accreditation Team of the Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology for their hard work and dedication, which resulted in the achievement of the highest accreditation status.
This event became a valuable moment for the USU Faculty of Agriculture, not only as an expression of gratitude for achieving Excellent Accreditation, but also as a means to strengthen fellowship among the academic community. Furthermore, this achievement is expected to serve as motivation for other study programs within the USU Faculty of Agriculture to continue improving quality and to soon achieve Excellent Accreditation.
