The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), strengthens synergy with government institutions through a partnership agreement signing with the Deli Serdang Regency Land Office on Monday, October 6, 2025.

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), officially signed a partnership agreement with the Deli Serdang Regency Land Office on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Dean’s Meeting Room, Faculty of Agriculture, USU.

This collaboration focuses on implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and supporting community structuring and empowerment programs through the Agrarian Reform initiative.

 

The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, M.S.; Vice Dean III, Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si.; along with expert staff and the Head of the Partnership Subdivision. Representing the Deli Serdang Land Office was Effendi Batubara, S.H., Head of Section, accompanied by his staff.

 

In her remarks, Prof. Tavi Supriana expressed her appreciation for the continued partnership that has been maintained over the past two years.

“We are very open to continuing our collaboration with the Deli Serdang Regency Land Office. The implementation of this cooperation has been going well, and we are committed to supporting its sustainability in the future,” said Prof. Tavi.

 

Through this signing, it is expected that the synergy between the USU Faculty of Agriculture and the Deli Serdang Land Office will grow stronger and bring positive impacts on scientific development and community welfare.
