The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), established a collaboration with the Binjai Land Office through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Faculty of Agriculture Meeting Room, USU.
This agreement focuses on implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and empowering human resources in the fields of agriculture and land management. Through this collaboration, it is expected that synergy between academics and government institutions can be strengthened to support the development of knowledge and practice in the agricultural sector.
The MoA signing was attended by the Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si, along with expert staff and the Head of the Cooperation Subdivision. From the Binjai Land Office, Dra. Helen Napitupulu, M.AP, Head of the Land Management and Empowerment Section, attended along with her staff.
Through this collaboration, the USU Faculty of Agriculture and the Binjai Land Office hope to realize various joint programs that will have a positive impact on the community, particularly in sustainable agriculture and productive land management.
