Usu Opens Tuition Fee (ukt) Review Applications On August 7–8, 2026 | Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Sumatera Utara

Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is opening applications for a Review of Single Tuition Fee (UKT) Rates for students who have experienced changes in their economic circumstances during their studies. Applications can be submitted on August 7–8, 2026, through the USU academic system.

This program is intended for students who meet the following criteria:

Bachelor’s Degree (S1) and Applied Bachelor’s Degree (D4): Semester 3 to Semester 8.
Diploma 3 (D3): Semester 3 to Semester 6.

Requirements for UKT Review

Students applying for a UKT review must meet the following requirements:

Have completed at least two semesters of study.
The parent/guardian or party listed as the primary source of funding during the initial UKT registration has experienced a change in economic circumstances during the student’s period of study due to:
a. A permanent illness that prevents them from continuing to work.
b. Termination of employment (layoff) or retirement.
c. A significant decrease in income.
d. Death.
e. Force majeure.

Application Requirements

Each UKT review application must be accompanied by valid and verifiable supporting documents relevant to the circumstances stated in the application.
