The Agribusiness Study Program of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, has officially achieved Excellent Accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) based on Decree Number 292/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/S/II/2026, valid from February 24, 2026, to February 24, 2031.

Proud news comes from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The undergraduate Agribusiness Study Program has officially achieved Excellent Accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).
 

This designation is stated in the Decree of the Director of the Executive Board of BAN-PT Number 292/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/S/II/2026. Based on this decision, the Agribusiness Study Program has been declared to meet all the established assessment criteria and is therefore entitled to receive the highest accreditation rating.
 

This achievement reflects the Agribusiness Study Program's commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of education, research, and community service. The Excellent Accreditation status also strengthens the program’s position in producing competent graduates who are competitive at both the national and international levels.
 

This accreditation certificate is valid for five years, starting from February 24, 2026, to February 24, 2031.
 

With this accreditation, the Agribusiness Study Program is expected to continue innovating and making meaningful contributions to the development of the agricultural sector, particularly in North Sumatra and across Indonesia.
