The entire academic community of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of the late Safruddin, S.P., M.MA, who served as Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Asahan University for the 2017–2025 term and was also a doctoral student in the Agricultural Science Study Program at the USU Faculty of Agriculture.
His passing is a great loss to the world of higher education, particularly within the Faculty of Agriculture at Asahan University and the USU Faculty of Agriculture. He was widely known as an academician and leader with a strong dedication to the advancement of education, research, and community service.
Prayers and highest respects are offered that Allah SWT may accept all of his good deeds, grant him peace in his grave, and place him in the best place by His side. May the bereaved family be given strength, patience, and fortitude in facing this sorrow.
