General Facility

Faculty of Agriculture Main Building
The Faculty of Agriculture Main Building is a two-story building that offers an optimal learning environment. The building provides sufficient and quality facilities with good lighting and an adequate air conditioning system. The first floor is designed to support academic and student activities, including rooms for academic affairs, Head of Academic and Student Affairs, expert staff, supplies and equipment, and a GIS laboratory. The second floor includes rooms for the dean, vice deans II and III, the chief administrative officer, and faculty and dean meeting rooms. Journal, administration and finance rooms, and facilities such as toilets and prayer room are also available for convenience and daily needs.

Classroom
Classroom facilities at the USU Faculty of Agriculture are designed to adequately support learning activities. There are 31 classrooms with an average capacity of 40-50 people per class, spread across 6 lecture buildings. Although these facilities partially meet the needs, the Faculty of Agriculture is still working to increase the number of classrooms to meet the standard ratio of building area per student, which should reach 4m2, especially for specific programs. To use the classrooms, you can contact the expert staff of the Vice Dean II of the USU Faculty of Agriculture or the staff of each study program's equipment/cleaning service.

Study Program Buildings
The Study Program Buildings of the Faculty of Agriculture consist of the H. Erwin Nasution Building, the Main Building, the Agribusiness Building, the D. H. Penny Building, the Agricultural Engineering and Biosystems Building, the Water Resources Management Building, the H10 Building, the H11 Building, and the H12 Building. The Study Programs in the Faculty of Agriculture are Agrotechnology, Animal Husbandry, Food Technology, Agribusiness, Aquatic Resources Management, Agricultural Engineering and Biosystems, and Postgraduate Studies. The Study Program Buildings include the Study Program head's office, the Study Program secretary's office, faculty rooms, meeting rooms, seminar rooms, administrative offices, prayer rooms, toilets, and kitchens.

The Faculty of Agriculture Field
USU Faculty of Agriculture field is a well-maintained and welcoming space that provides a balance between academics and recreation. The campus features a canteen, a tractor monument, a pond, a student experimental garden, chicken coops, goat pens, and student toilets to meet the everyday needs of students and provide a comfortable environment.

Faculty Library
The USU Faculty of Agriculture has a branch library located on the 1st Floor of Building H12. However, the branch library is still integrated with the university library, which is located at Jalan Perpustakaan No. 1, USU Medan Campus, with a total collection of 609,991 copies of books. The library is equipped with a comfortable reading room and 350 computer units with adequate Wi-Fi quality. In addition, the library has a database containing all students' final assignments and lecturers' scientific works, which are stored in the USU Repository and can be accessed online. To support teaching and research to keep abreast of the latest developments in science and technology, the library also subscribes to a number of internationally reputed and nationally accredited e-journals and e-books.

Soeratman Hall
Soeratman Hall at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara serves as a venue for large meetings, such as seminars, conferences, and other important events. This facility can be utilized by the entire academic community in the campus environment and its use is regulated through permission from the faculty. The hall is equipped with adequate audio-visual facilities to support the smooth running of events and activities.
