Field Visit by the Assistant of Food Chemical Analysis Laboratory with Lecturers and Staff of Food Technology Study Program FP USU to PKS Tanjung Seumentoh and PTPN I Aceh Tamiang FP USU students visited PKS Tanjung Seumentoh and Kebun Lama PTPN I Aceh Tamiang to learn about CPO processing and oil palm plantation practices, enhancing their practical skills and knowledge. 18 January 2023

Community Service: Utilization of Vegetable Pesticides and Paranets to Support Horticultural Crops in Sorik Merapi, Mandailing Natal Regency Community service by Universitas Sumatera Utara in Hutanamale Village, Mandailing Natal, teaches the use of natural pesticides and netting for pest control in horticultural crops. This program aims to enhance farmers' knowledge and promote agricultural tourism development in the area. 03 January 2023

Community Service: An Edukop Model for Managing Appropriate Arabica Coffee to Support Telagah Tourism The Community Service program by the Faculty of Agriculture, USU, assists coffee farmers in Desa Telagah by improving coffee cultivation management. Through knowledge transfer and technology, the quality and quantity of coffee production are expected to improve. 26 December 2022

Community Service: Introduction of Environmentally Friendly Agricultural Technology Based on Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle (3R) in Raising the Income of Oyster Mushroom Farmers in Sei Beluru Village, Asahan Regency The Faculty of Agriculture USU conducted a community service program to increase the income of oyster mushroom farmers in Desa Sei Beluru by teaching 3R-based processing technology for mushroom baglog waste. This program aims to improve product quality and environmental sustainability in the area. 26 December 2022

Community Service by USU Lecturers to Gapoktan Sumber Mufakat Village Partner in Tanah Karo Regency with the Cultivation of Acem-Acem (Oxalis dehradunensis Raizada.) and its Utilization as a Hand Sanitizer for Protection from Exposure to Chemical Pesticid FP USU lecturers conducted a community service program in Tanah Karo, promoting the cultivation of Oxalis dehradunensis as a natural hand sanitizer to protect farmers from pesticide exposure. 19 December 2022
