USU Faculty of Agriculture Showcases Innovation and Strengthens Partnerships at the 4th T-POMI 2026 Through its program in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), participated in the 4th Technology and Talent Palm Oil Mill Indonesia (T-POMI) 2026, held at Adimulia Hotel Medan from July 8–10, 2026. During the exhibition, the Faculty showcased a range of research outputs and technological innovations, including the Combine Digester, while expanding collaboration opportunities with government agencies, industry, research institutions, and international partners. The participation reflects the Faculty's commitment to research-based education, technological innovation, and strategic partnerships in support of sustainable agricultural development and the achievement of SDGs 4, 8, 9, and 17. 14 July 2026

Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara Strengthens National and International Academic Networks through Entomology Collaboration The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara continues to strengthen its national and international academic networks through an entomology public lecture and the signing of collaborative agreements in Manokwari. Agrotechnology Student of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara Achieves Outstanding Success at National and International Taekwondo Championships in 2026 Another remarkable achievement has been earned by Firman Frananta Sebayang, a student of the Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), who won two gold medals at the 2026 Malaysia Open Taekwondo Championship, as well as one bronze and one silver medal at two national Taekwondo championships throughout 2026. These accomplishments reflect the dedication and determination of Faculty of Agriculture students in bringing pride to their alma mater. 08 July 2026
