Socialization of MASMA Congress Results and Campus Political Talkshow Enliven the 2025 Voice Room Event at FP USU The Student Organizations (ORMAWA) of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, held a Socialization of MASMA Congress Results and a Talk Show titled "Campus Political Dynamics" on May 6, 2025, at the Suratman Hall. The event included presentations on the MASMA Constitution, ORMAWA Law, and PEMIRA Law, as well as a session on “The Role of Organizations in the Workplace” by the Dean of the Faculty. The event aimed to foster democratic spirit and student leadership within the university. 08 May 2025

The USU Faculty of Agriculture Received Day Old Chick (DOC) Broilers from PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPI) The Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Sumatera Utara received Day-Old Chicks (DOC) from PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk on May 6, 2025, for the 12th broiler rearing cycle in its closed house facility. This activity is also part of the MBKM internship program involving 14 Animal Science students. 08 May 2025

World Food Series Webinar (Next-Gen Food Innovation: Traditional Indonesian Products & Omic Approaches for Safety) The School of Food Industry, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand, in collaboration with the Food Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a World Food Series Webinar titled "Next-Gen Food Innovation: Traditional Indonesian Products & Omic Approaches for Safety," featuring two distinguished speakers: Prof. Ir. Hotnida Sinaga, M.Phil., Ph.D. (Head of the Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, USU, Indonesia) and Dr. Phakorn Papan (School of Food Industry, KMITL, Thailand). 07 May 2025

The event featured Prof. Dr. Ir. Visit of PT Agrari to the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, USU The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), welcomed a visit from Prof. Bungaran Saragih, a Distinguished Professor at IPB University and former Minister of Agriculture (2001–2004) under the Gotong-Royong Cabinet, along with PT Agrari.
